Private Jewellery tuition

All of my private tuition sessions are booked in a minimum of two hour blocks for make sure we have enough time to cover each subject.

Please see the below list to see what can be covered and make a note of which you would like to do with your booking in the notes area. For most students we would already be in discussion and you will know what to book. 

Wax 1: Beginners tuition-  2 hour session wax carving- Hard wax. 

Wax 1: Beginners tuition- 2 hour session finish off. 

Wax 2: Beginners tuition- 2 hour session- other soft waxes. 

Wax 2: Beginners tuition - 2 hour session- further finish off. 

Wax 3: 3 hour session- lost wax carving, shaping and starting to use burrs. Make a pendant- Hard wax. 

Wax 4: 3 hour session- lost wax carving for signet rings- hard wax. 

Wax 5: 4 hour session- lost wax carving for Cabochon rings- hard wax. 

Wax 6: 2 hour session,- lost wax carving transferring  pattern to hard wax

Intensive tuition-4 hour session- Wax build up 

Intensive tuition - 4 hour session- Direct setting

Intensive tuition- 6 hours over 2 seperate sessions. 4 hour session- wax fabrication.  3 hour session- finish off and setting the stones. 

Extra finish off technique session-  2 hours 

Basic soldering with hand torches and making your own findings- 4 hours

All of these slots are for hours between 10am and 2pm on weekdays only. If you really need other dates or times please e mail me to see what we can work out.

Please note weekend / evening sessions are +$200 per session over and above the quoted price.
